Division bar (2pt) used to join 2 sheets together and forms a tight seal – comes in 2 parts, apply the back trim behind and between the hygienic wall cladding sheet. Once completed push the notched TOP CAP into the back trim tapping gently with a rubber mallet.

Edge bar (2pt)  for exposed edges – comes in 2 parts, insert edge bar into the wall sheet and attach sheet and edge  bar onto wall. Can be used to cover exposed cut areas of the sheet or as a top or bottom start/finish trim.

External corner (F) to cover external corners where 2 sheets meet – insert small external corner into wall cladding sheet and attached sheet onto your wall. The small external corner other edge/face will now cover the joint of the already applied cladding sheet in the corner.

Internal curved corner to cover internal corners where 2 sheets meet – insert small curved internal corner into the wall cladding sheet and attached sheet onto your wall. The small internal curved corner will now form a seal with the other already applied cladding sheet in the corner.

Delivery Times

Delivery times are between 8.00am & 6.00pm. Unfortunately, we cannot offer you an estimated time of arrival as we use a courier/pallet courier to deliver the goods if outside our area. If there is the likelihood of delay or we are unable to fulfil an agreed delivery date, we will contact you in advance to discuss alternative options. Any missed deliveries will incur a re-delivery charge. We have developed a very reliable carrier delivery service but it is possible due to unforeseen circumstances that an order may not reach its destination within the stated time frame, for this reason we strongly advise against booking installers until your goods have arrived, we cannot be held liable for any consequential loss and cannot be held responsible. This applies also to next day deliveries if for some unforeseen reason does not turn up on the day stated, no refunds will be given. We strongly advise you not to book installers until your hygienic cladding or accessories has arrived and you have checked it as we cannot be held liable for any consequential loss.

Delivery Considerations

Following insurance guidelines, all pallet deliveries are curb-side drops and you must have at least two able bodied people to offload your order. Drivers are NOT insured to offload into your place of work or site. Smaller orders will be sent via TUFFNELS and the driver will bring the order to your door. Before signing for goods, upon arrival check all parts of the order to ensure it has arrived in full and check for any damage during its transit. In the rare occurrence there is damage or missing items with your order, you must sign the delivery note as ‘damaged’ or “missing”and explain to what extent, if you then contact us we will look to replace damaged/missing items as soon as you make us aware. Please note as with any delivery, if you sign the delivery note that you received the goods in good order we cannot then replace any damaged/missing packs packs after this stage.Special access requirements should be outlined at the time of your order, if you have any restricted access such as size, weight or parking limitations or for any reason that an arctic sized wagon cannot reach your address you must inform us at the time of order so we can make arrangements for this. Any failed delivery on this basis will incur a re-delivery charge.Any goods which are refused at the time of delivery and upon receipt back to us are shown to not contain faults or damages will be given a refund less the delivery costs. At Cladding Monkey we work with the most reliable couriers to ensure delivery standards are maintained, although nearly all our deliveries arrive on time, none of our services are guaranteed due to potential delays such as traffic and weather and as such we strongly advise not to book installers or other work until your delivery arrives as we can not be held liable for any consequential loss.No liability can be accepted for costs caused by late deliveries or for any other reason. Therefore we advise against booking trades for installations until goods have been receivedPrior to use, please ensure that you inspect your goods prior to installation and that the goods are correct as per your order and that you are happy with the appearance and quality. Once the installation has started no claims for incorrect goods will be accepted. It is also the responsibility of the person installing your hygienic wall cladding to de-select any faulty or damaged boards prior to the installation as no claims for faulty of damaged boards can be accepted after the installation.

Damaged Faulty Goods

Any damaged goods MUST be signed as damaged on the delivery note; we will then make further arrangements with you to replace the damaged goods. If you are not happy with replacements to be sent out you may return the goods (at your own cost) and we will arrange a FULL refund within 7 working days.

Installation Tutorials

Cladding installation is easy. Take a look at our short video with a thorough guide on how to install our hygienic wall cladding.

Individual Tutorial Video Clips

Step 1 – Tool Selection

Welcome to the Cladding Monkey installation guide. Before starting, let’s gather all the tools needed:

  • Tape measure
  • Jigsaw
  • Hacksaw
  • Rubber mallet
  • Marker pen
  • Combination square
  • Laser level or spirit level
  • Mixing device & 4mm notched trowel If you plan to use the 2-part adhesive
  • Wipes
  • Application gun
  • Adhesives & silicones
  • Work table

Step 2 – Surface Preparation

24hrs before starting work apply watered-down PVA solution to the wall, so all particles are completely removed, allowing you to install PVC cladding onto a clean surface.

Step 3 – Setting Level

The capping and transition base should align at the bottom of the wall and sit on either the floor, skirting or worktop – use a laser level or spirit level to ensure this is the case.

The decision to cut the sheets will depend on the total height of the ceiling.

Using the single part adhesive, place the trim on the predetermined level, then use your hand to apply pressure.

Use masking tape to hold the profile in place, then leave it for as the duration stated on the adhesive.

Step 4 – Measuring Cuts

Measure the cladding area and mark the final placement for each sheet from sockets to switches to pipes.

If corners fall within the cladding area, for sheets to fit they may need to be adjusted – check the levels of the walls to check if this is the case.

Remove part of the film from around the edge of the sheet, so it doesn’t become trapped in the profiles when fitted.

When cutting the sheet, firmly hold down the sheet, as when using a jigsaw, excess vibration could cause it to break.

Step 5 – Adhesive Preparation

There are 2 different adhesives, used to stick the sheet to the wall, for 2 different situations:

  • For full coverage the two-part adhesive is recommended
  • For quick installations the cartridge adhesive is recommended, for internal or external use

When working with the two-part adhesive, mix solutions a and b with a drill fitted mixing paddle. Mix for at least 2 minutes for an even consistency.

Step 6 – Adhesive Application

Using a four mm notched trowel, spread the mixture evenly over the non-filmed side of the sheet.

But remember – to allow for the 2 part joining strips – leave a 15mm gap around the sheet’s outer edge.

When working with the cartridge adhesive, this will also be applied to the non-filmed side of the sheet, but this time, use an application gun.

We would always advise to apply lines of adhesive as shown.

Step 7 – Fitting Sheets

Make sure the board and wall is dust, dirt, oil & debris free before applying the adhesive. Always use the sealant in horizontal lines as vertical lines makes it tougher for the adhesive to stick.
Always ensure even coverage across the whole board.

There are 2 main roles in this process;

The first focussed on guiding the sheet into the base trim

And the second focussed on holding the sheet away from the wall.

Preferably you will have 2 people present – one to handle each role.  If this isn’t possible you can always use some glass suction cups, to easily position the sheet.

The sheet should only be pushed against the wall, once it’s been fitted into its base trim. It’s crucial that the sheet is correctly placed before it’s smoothed over with your hand or a rubber mallet to fully spread the adhesive. This is because the two-part adhesive dries very quickly.

Step 8 – Fitting Accessories

Due to their sensitivity to temperature, PVC materials may expand and contract marginally once fitted.

This is why a 2mm expansion gap between the cladding sheet and the centre of the two-part vertical joiner is pivotal.

If the sheets require cutting, the two part vertical joiner will also require cutting.

Fit these using a small bead of adhesive and slide behind the sheet.

Please refer to our profiles information sheet on our website for information of the two corner choices available – both of which are offered in different sizes.

In short, the first type is an internal or external 90 degree angle – simple to use and cut, with the ability to be stuck to the wall with adhesive.

The second being an internal and external corner section – clip the chosen corner piece onto the next sheet to go on the wall once the sheet has been fitted up to said corner.

Then run a bead of adhesive down the edge of the previously fitted one, before joining this next sheet up to it and fit onto the wall.

In order to fill any minor gaps which may present themselves, you can use our food grade silicone.

Next, trim the join of fronts and transition tops with a hacksaw. Then remove the protective film and clip the relevant join of fronts into place.

The cladding can now be wiped down.
